This moon piece is a gorgeous pair of earrings made with both "rainbow moonstone" and real natural moonstone.
Did you know that the trade term for moonstone is actually referencing a type of blue and white labradorite? So, what most people refer to as moonstone, isn't actually moonstone at all.
I've titled this piece "Moons and Illusions" because the top two beads are what people commonly refer to as "moonstone" but is in fact labradorite. And the bottom three stones are actual natural moonstone.
